anyone know if this exists?
what I mean is there such a thing in Cuba, Mexico, DR where the all inclusive is geared to families that have ZERO alcohol on the premises and the food and the rest of the stuff is all inclusive.

This would be great for me because i don’t drink so hopefully an alcohol free AI would be cheaper than one that includes it. Hotel staff have told me it’s more expensive than the food.
The hotel I always stay at in Cuba has only switched over to AI a few years back to better compete with all the other resorts. All I used to pay for was breakfast, and the room. I would go buy my juice and water at the local market nearby where I paid in CUC and it was a fraction of the cost of what they charged at the hotel. I usually had a big breakfast, skipping lunch because i was never hungry at the beach during the day and ate dinner wherever i wanted. It still worked out cheaper. Now I have no choice and I end up paying for golf I don’t play, lobster dinners and alcohol I don’t consume.
It would be nice to have options.

The bulk of what you pay for is transportation, accomodations and service. The cost of the food and liquor is so minimal per person that I don’t think excluding liquor would have very much effect. Is the average person going to drink a bottle or two in a week? That translates to about a cost of $5 – $10

We wondered about this as well. If the cost is minimal we wondered why kid prices are so much lower. The differences seem to be they wouldn’t consume alchohol and the food amount ‘may’ be lower. Some kids waste alot though. I’d go for the no alcohol option if I could but how does the resort save cuz my spouse could just bring me a drink. I’d pay for each drink as another option.
