I would say that this place has good services and it is kind of unique but in my opinion, it is overpriced. In as much as I enjoyed my stay here, I kind of managed because in my opinion, there is no good hotel without hot water. I couldn’t stay for as long as I wanted due to this and for the money that is being charged per night, services like hot water should be provided to the guests. I also had problems with noise coming from the music that was playing from club on the first floor. Every other thing was in working condition. I visited the casino in the hotel, it was okay nothing special and there was live band playing here as well. The rooms need to be cleaned more often as it was not really tidy compared to other hotels I have stayed in and considering the fact that they make us pay so much, it’s the lest they can do. I visited here November 2013 and stayed for just three days as couldn’t continue without hot water. The location is great but can be a little difficult to locate and it is right in the middle of Santo Domingo. The staff was very attentive and friendly, accommodating to the guests and went out of their way to make sure I was comfortable. The best thing about the hotel is the casino and live band, great and attentive staff and the location. Every other thing was half way and I probably will think twice before coming back here again.
