This is my first post on here, and I’m wondering if I will be able to bring my bridesmaid dress on the plane as well as my carry on bag? I’m flying SkyService on Feb. 3rd. Does anyone know?

Welcome to the Forum!

Give SkyService a call and ask them if it is ok that You bring your bridesmaids dress on board along with your carry on.If they say it is ok then ask them for an email confirming it and bring your email along with you when you check in at the SkyService counter.

Hi, With SkyService, I was only allowed to bring my wedding dress as my carry on and a purse- no other bags. I was following what was posted at the Skyservice website.

I sent an e-mail to Sky service and this is the answer I got… I’m going to print it and bring it with me to the airport as proof… You should also send an e-mail to Skyservice… I got my answer in just a week…. (www.skyserviceairlines.ca)Dear Anne-Marie:I thank you for your email and congratulations on your upcoming wedding. You may bring your wedding gown on-board in addition to your carry-on. That’s exactly what I did when I brought my dress. You can always hang your dress in your room if you’re worried about wrinkles and the humid air should get them all out by the wedding.
You should have seen me when we were going through security, I was getting angry they wanted to put my dress through the xray only b/c I was paranoid it would get caught on the conveyor and rip, LOL!! The security guy and my husband were getting quite preturbed with me on that one!!

	I also FINALLY received an email from SkyService on this. They said the exact same thing as your email, cubagirl. I was pleasantly surprised to read that from them because I absolutely have to bring a carry on bag, and if the dress was in my checked luggage and ended up getting lost, I don’t think the bride would be too happy with me!!!
