El Carey has been rebuilt and we have been given permission to have our Puerto Plata donation Meet & Greet there again. Friday, January 31st at 1pm. DREAM Project and our scholarship student will be there along with reps from Mustard Seed Home; Dominican Eyes; Sosua Kids; Fundación Inmaculada Concepción Hogar Emiliano Tardiff (an orphanage in Santiago); Fundacion Juventud Y Naturaleza(Santo Domingo); Mariposa Foundation. Once again, we will be giving donations of both cash (in the form of Bank Drafts) as well as hard goods. A friend in BC has already told me she has 500 pairs of eyeglasses for Dominican Eyes.
