Checked in luggage allowance with CanJet | Debbie's Caribbean Resort Reviews Forums

I look at a vacaton package from Montreal to Holguin with CaribeSol tour operator using CanJet airline. The CanJet web page allows 2 checked in bags with 20kgs/each. I wonder if it applies to Canjet customers only (I mean just book the airfare with CanJet) or apply to all tour operators customers. Do you have any experience with CanJet? Are they good? Thanks

We found that the Tour Operator uses CanJet’s rules. See here:

A few years ago we booked through Sunwing and friends booked through Nolitours. We all ended up on a great CanJet flight. The Nolitours folks never got Club and we got the Exit seats.CanJet also gave us an additional 22Kg of checked "donations for humanitarian" aid, at no extra charge. We just asked the right way and Good for them!!

I think they allow…. " For each passenger, CanJet allows up to two (2) checked pieces of 20kg (44 lbs) in combined weight and 158 cm (62 inches) each in overall dimensions (height + width + depth). Wheels and handles are included. "So, no 2x20kg , but 2 bags in combined weight of 20 kg. Or am I reading this wrong ??

At least you got 10 kg carry on. Sunwing gives only 5 kg

…….

No, you’re not reading it wrong. 20 kg (44 lbs) total per passenger.
