Are very similar – Do you want my secret method for cooking
I like shrimp. A lot. I mainly like the Pacific blue (Penaeus stylirostris) and Pacific white (Litopenaeus vannamei) varieties from the Mexican west coast for their easy to remove zipper back type shell, the blues ccme from esteros along that coast and are considered a Mexican delicacy for their excellent flavor.I like the flavor of Cuban rock shrimp (Sicyonia brevirostris) but the shells can be a nuisance to get off, noticed some large frozen shrimp at the local Billingsgate market labeled Cuban with the same rock hard shells but didn’t buy any.Are there other shrimp types besides rock hard shrimp available in or from Cuba ?
