This is a stunning hotel and one of the best places to stay in Barahona, I loved Dominican Republic right from the moment I stepped out of the plane. The people are so warm, the environment seems lively and fun and you could just feel that Caribbean awesomeness right from the airport until I got to the hotel and it was way better than I thought it would be. Immediately I got here, the grounds were just something to marvel about, so beautiful, nice terrace with stunning gardens and a nice refreshing pool. The hotel management is really in the process of making this place the best choice because of all the upgrades and modernized features I saw here. The host whose name was GATANO I think was such a wonderful person to be around as he was extremely helpful. The staff that worked at this hotel was multilingual; you could hear those speaking different languages. The location is great but seemed like most people didn’t know about the place making it less touristy but that wasn’t the point, it was good value. There are some nice little places you could visit and go on excursions to such as Laguna Oviedo and the rest. This is definitely the place for someone looking to get something unique and small not so luxurious and expensive. The food at the restaurant tasted great and delicious, the staff was wonderful and always helped when it was needed, everything in the room was functional.
