We’re going to the Decameron Salinitas in March. We just got back from the Mayan Riviera, Valentin Maya Hotel and they really dressed up in the evening for restaurants and shows. Do the men wear long pants and do the women wear dressy clothes in the evening at the Decameron or is it a more casual dress code? |

Long pants for the gents are always nice, especially in the a la cartes. They’re a bit more relaxed at the buffet. Smart casual is how I’d describe it. |

We ‘just’ returned from spending two weeks at the Decameron. Did see some people dressed up for the a la cartes. It is not a requirement. At night time it was quite hot and humid – not very comfortable at all. All the a la cartes are in an open restaurant – meaning no air conditioning.
There was the nightly entertainment. Definitely don’t dress up for that. It’s usually held at the outdoor theatre – you will be sitting on concrete to watch it. |
