elephants in tanzania | Debbie's Caribbean Resort Reviews Forums

This was from a vacation spent in Tanzania about four years ago this week.  best (and most expensive!) trip of my life.
Tanzania again. This was a home possibly near Karatu. I’m glad I took tons of photos, beacause it reminds me of what it was like to be there. You can imagine the heat, the smells and the sounds.

Love the videos! Especially the baby elephant and the zebras. Thanks for posting!

My wife and her sister spent 3 weeks in Tanzania last year, and had a great time. Did you go on the MV Liemba on the lake?

I booked my excursions with Zara tours, a Tanzanian owned company. I stayed at a few different places. We went to the Serengeti, Arusha, Ngorongoro, Tangire, etc and other parks. At one place on the edge of the Serengeti, I couldn’t sleep until early in the morning as hundreds of wildebeests were grunting and bellowing until the wee hours of the morning just outside out rooms. It really was incredible. All the nature shows, I had ever seen on Africa came to life. I wish I could go back, I would have to save my pennies for a year or two.

You should have gone with them!!

I might get to go, she would like to go back. They went to Dar, Selous, Kigoma, Gombe, Zanzibar, and Mahale mountains (took the MV Liemba to get there). Lovely pictures from their trip, I had to hold the fort.
