La Preferida de Cuba – Cerveza Cristal
BobMichaels 2017-01-13 04:18:03 UTC #24
Famous "peso pizza" which is 5 CUP or 20 cents everywhere but in Havana or other touristic places where it is 10 CUP
Cuban box lunch which cost 20 CUP and is always rice with a piece of chicken. You use the top of the box as your spoon
rum in a box or Planchao, just enough to get you through the morning. Cost 25 CUP.
Or, you can just wait for the Macuson, the monthly day long cultural event in Cueto when the rum truck arrives just after dark and you can buy a bottle of rum from a real factory for 40 CUP or just under $2-. But this is a once a month special arranged by the government.

I had a Cristal in a glass bottle on ice in Havana. Probably the best tastiest beer I’ve ever had. It was 90 degree out and I just stepped into La Foridita

Cuban Mamoncillo in a Cerveza would be good?
Admin 2017-02-06 14:25:21 UTC #38
Lol never tried. It taste between plum and apricot / peach. Its dangerous for kids because of the size of the seed so be careful if you give it to kids to eat.

I loved the pizza at Luna Mar! It’s been many years since I was there (2006)… I wonder if it’s still in business.
