Simply the best holiday ever! We spent 2 weeks at the resort, from the 15th – 29th july 2007. The weather was amazing but a little on the humid side, we were told by several people, the best time to holiday in cuba is from december to april, their high season, you then get the heat without excessive humidity. The hotel and the staff are excellent. Our wedding was held on the beach, a lovely setting, completly relaxed, if not a little sereal, people were congratulating us from their sun beds, just yards away from our ceremony, it really was a fantastic day, from Dorgelis doing my hair in the morning, the never ending flow of champagne, the extreamly friendly cuban band who played for us and Yarly the hotels lovely wedding co-ordinator who was always close at hand. The only regret being that we didn`t take advantage of the resorts photo shop, it was on our penultimate day that we realised how cheap their photo service was! During our stay we took part in several trips, swmming with the dolphins amazing and reasonable about £40 per adult, Island paradise trip with optional jeep safari, also really good but a very long day, starting with a 1 1/2-2 hour bus trip to pick up catameran 2 hours to get to the island and around 2 hours on the island then home again. my husband and son also went deep sea fishing, not for the faint hearted!
Food good something for everyone, drinks plentyful and good selection. Room good air conditioning wonderful!! Kids didn’t want to leave, the entertainment staff treated them so well. We would go back tomorrow.
