Getting Concerned! | Debbie's Caribbean Resort Reviews Forums

Did you check out the reviews posted on Debbies? There are 26 of them, as recent as Jan 2008. Sorry, I haven’t been there personally… but since it is a 5 star I wouldn’t be worried!

Considering that there are only 10 posts concerning this resort on this forum looks like not too many members have gone there. Also your other post only asks if anyone will be there during the time given. If you have specific questions I suggest you post them in this forum and see if you get any replied.

I wouldn’t hesitate to book this resort – I doubt you could go wrong with a Paradisus hotel!

Hi.I believe that this resort used to be a Sandals (until early 2007) and this may be the reason for you not getting many responses.

I haven’t been there myself but know a couple who have and they raved about it. Would go back again in a heart beat. I also agree with the above statement of I don’t think you could go wrong with a Paradisius resort.

Sol Melia is the top resort chain in Cuba – they are from Spain and have over 400 resorts / hotels world wide !!!

Kristi,
We stayed at the Princesa last March shortly after the Melia chain took over and renamed it the Paradisus Princesa. We had a great holiday. The rooms were lovely, and nicely decorated. The grounds were well maintained and we had no problem with service anywhere on the resort. There is a wide choice of a la cartes for dinner as well as bars/lounges throughout the day or for pre/after drinks. The beach is quite wide however the sand is a bit coarser than in other parts of Varadero.

And this has something to do with Paradisus Princesa?

I haven’t had a single person respond regarding Paradisus Princesa! Does anyone go to this resort??? Help! I agree with Rumrunner. A better subject line might increase the number of responses.

I’ve never been there, but I’m sure that you’ve got nothing to worry about considering the 5-star rating.

Seems obvious: Melia operates the Paradisus brand.

Wrong. It’s not obvious.

It is if you read the post made about 20 minutes before yours. ;D
