The hotel has a number of good employees! You need to pay everything! The rooms have not lamps, it´s absurd!

With the caveat that I had low expectations… ROOM: Mold throughout ventilation system and carpets; drapes torn and coming down; bathroom leaks soaked floors after each shower and further soaked carpet; balcony door fell off hinges; no chairs on balcony; personal items stolen … PUBLIC AREAS: Dim to no lighting; Lobby bathrooms were a joke – falling apart, no tp. So, so in desperate need of TLC. POOL: Wouldn’t dare. STAFF: Expect for being ripped off by certain housekeeper, staff was polite although seldom helpful. CURRENCY EXCHANGE: U.S. to CUC expect to pay 13% at Riviera. You’d do better at the airport or across the street at neighbor Melia hotel. All this said …I still tipped generously and hope this hotel gets the renovation and restoration it needs.
