My friends and I want o go on vacation next May or early June. There are four of us and we love the nightlife, good food, huge pools and beautiful beaches. Trying to get some ideas where to go thinking if Jamaica but don’t know much about it. Possibly thinking St. Thomas to or Puerto Rico. Need some suggestions please. We have already been to Mexico twice and Dom. Republic. We have stayed at 2 Iberostar hotels and loved them so we were thinking along those lines. I would greatly appreciate any info anyone has ![]("http://images.proboards.com/v5/smiley/smiley.png") Oh yeah has to be all-inclusive! |

Jennifer,The Holiday Inn Sunspree in Mo’ Bay is nice. The downside is that there isn’t much of a night life, however they do offer shuttles (you have to pay) into downtown so that you can party at other locations.The food was the best that I’d ever had at a resort, pools were good. The Adult pool isn’t huge but served the purpose (the pool water was almost bath water temperature). The resort as a whole was clean, and never had a problem with the room. Since I was there almost 4 years ago now, they’ve done some reno’s so it may even be better.If you want to be close to the night life, you’d better look at a resort closer to downtown.

For beautiful beaches and good night life, I would definetely choose a resort in Negril. What is your budget? Couples Swept Away is very nice, within walking distance to nightlife but is also expensive. The Riu is much cheaper, has nice pools and facilties, but you would have to get a cab to the nightlife.

We went to Montego Bay last summer. It was not the first time that we have been in Jamaica. This time we stayed at the Rose Hall Resort, which was ok. However, for night life you would definately need transport.
We have also been to Ocho Rios where we stayed at the Sun Jamaica Grande. This was situated right in the centre of Och Rios so the night life was just a walk away. There are loads of bars and restaurants. We used the Jamaica Luxury Vacation Guide which can be found on www.luxuryvacationsvillas.com/Jamaica-Luxury-Vacations.asp to get the low down on what to do there, and there is lots to do in and around Ocho Rios. I would definately go to Dunns River Falls, it is great fun !
