Not sure about that. The French company Pernod Ricard holds international marketing rights for Havana Club, and are poised to charge US with counterfeiting the brand. I wouldn’t be surprised that as soon as the current court battle in the US is finished, Pernod Ricard might make a move. Mind you, they are still hampered by Helms Burton.France is building inroads in investing in Cuba.
