I am looking for suggestions for a resort for the family vacation. We are looking for a resort that caters to those of use over the age of 16. The family consists of the husband and myself, and the two kids, ages 27-16. I was looking at the Grand Lido Braco in Jamaica however was told not great for the 16 yr old. So I am asking for any and all help. Thanks. |

What types of things do you like to do while on vacay?Have you ever thought of Cabo? I don’t know what your price ranges are but maybe look in to Dreams Los Cabos Suites Golf Resort & Spa. I know their other locations are amazing as well. There are also a couple Riu’s and a Melia`Good area for catching some surf, and a lot of R&R. Cabo has nightlife too!Good luck!

I went to RIU Ocho Rios in Feb with a g/f and had to go back with my family (kids 17, 13). Great entertainment, great food, close to Dunns Falls and Ocho Rios, a local bar/beach next door which is safe for your 16 yr old. (no problems, we became "guests" of Rupert a local we used for our tours. Just past the bar you can find Eddie to ride some horses in the water. Excellent beach. Check out their website.
