This site tries to put spyware on your computer. My browser warned me and I sent the message to Mod Steffiej and the Editors. On our Cuba General Forum, the Great Deal thread is infected. If you get a warning, don’t proceed, back out and go somewhere else.I’m sure Debbie’s will fix this tonight.
Warning: Visiting this site may harm your computer! Fingers crossed! |

CaribbeanMag is a big site and it’s been around for a long long time. I don’t think there’s a real issue but it is possible that they’ve been attacked.I don’t get any warnings from IE8 or Firefox, but Chrome complains. My virus and anti-spyware (AVG) doesn’t list any problems with the site. I notice that a few other sites are listing the same issue.I’ve dropped an email to the owner of the site.In the meantime, all I can suggest is that you guys stop using their trip tickers until the issue is resolved.
edit: If I see any of their tickers, I’ll temporarily disable them. |

Caribbeanmag has it’s own load of problems. Tickers are a big deal here and are easily attacked.
Help is needed here, guys. |

I’ve received a response from the site owner.
Hi Bob,Arrgg!!! Google is just killing me now. Yes, It did seem a hacker used my forum to add a hidden iframe linked to some malware. I have removed the malware link and have been waiting for Google to address this on their end.At the moment CaribbeanMag.com is clean of any possible problems. But in reading Google’s help pages it may take as long a day or two for them to review and remove the warning message. I hate spammers and the hack nut jobs…so much spam on a daily basis!! Thanks for the heads up message though. Cheers. Neal |
