We went last October and besides the birds flying around in the morning, everything there was great. The pool did get a little dingy but we told management and it was cleaned that night to our satisfaction. The food is fantastic at all the restuarants and even the buffet will make you anything you want if you ask them. The service is outstanding. We went snorkeling almost everyday in the little beach area and went scuba diving in Cabo. We had a rental car and were able to go to both main towns with no problems or concerns. American money is useless now there, so change to pesos at the airport. We are going back for 10 days in May and I can’t wait. (The beds are a little stiff but you sleep so well it was never an issue and I have a bad back, never hurt)

Well air conditioned, beds could be softer, but I like a firm mattress
Restaurants and Bars:
All three restaurants were exceptional, the buffet is a bit redundant. Drinks were to my liking, and Im a drinker, never had to wait for service, not even for a soda.
Beach/Pools/Grounds: Beach bar not open often, but just took several drinks with me down there, have to go upstairs to use the bathroom anyway, just get a few more cocktails or send your husband.
Pool got dingy, but they cleaned it as soon as we mentioned it.
Activities on and off the Resort/Hotel:
Snorkeled daily, went scuba diving in Cabo. Had a car, so left whenever we wanted. You HAve to get a Massage at the resort, I get massages twice a month and the lady at Melia made me melt, I gave her a $50 tip and plan on seeing her a couple times next month.
