We have stayed at this majestic hotel on two occasions. We have beautiful memories of our time there: excellent services and, what I recall most distinctly is the beautiful view of the seawalk, from the fantastic parks. We recommend it. Cuba’s Hotel Nacional very much recalls Spain’s Paradores Nacionales, a quiet, relaxed place surrounded by impressive gardens overlooking the Malecon and facing the Morro castle. A night looking out to the sea, smoking a good Cuban cigar and savouring a delicious Cuba Libre. I was at the Nacional this past October and it was an unforgettable experience. The kind services and safety of the hotel, all excellent. When I return to Havana I’ll of course stay again at the Nacional. Paco Brines (Translated from an original in Spanish)

I SPENT A WEEK AT THIS MAGNIFICENT HOTEL (FROM DECEMBER 26 TO JANUARY 3). I HAVE ONLY GOOD THINGS TO SAY ABOUT THE ATMOSPHERE ONE BREATHS THERE, WHICH TAKES YOU TO A DIFFERENT PLACE. IN ONE WORD: ENCHANTING. THE HOTEL HAS GOOD SERVICES AND IMPRESSIVE VIEWS. A REAL TREAT. SEE YOU SOON, HOTEL NACIONAL.

The Nacional is not just a Hotel, it is the history of Cuba, of Cuba before the Revolution, of revolutionary Cuba, of Cuba under the US blockade…My only condition on going to Cuba was staying at the National, and I don’t regret it. I love Cuba and this Hotel

I went to the hotel with my wife in May 2008 to have dinner and see the show in Le Parisien. Later on, we had a Cuba Libre sitting in the courtyard facing the Malecón. ¡Absolutely heavenly! We are planning to go again to Cuba and stay a few days at this hotel ind May or June. Thank you very much.

Hello. My name is Carolina and I’m from Rosario. I didn’t stay at the Hotel Nacional, but had the pleasure of seeing the Parisien show staged every night at the hotel and it is really incredible, marvellous, not to be missed! Anyone who travels to Havana has to make the time to go see that show. You should advertise it more prominently on your webpage. Cheers.

We stayed at the Hotel Nacional at the end of April 2008. All I can say is that it is a marvelous hotel, the services are very good, the staff is irreproachable and very kind. It is the ideal place to spend a few days at. It has impressive views and a very good location. Of course I’ll be back in Havana and will doubtless stay at the Nacional, it’s got an enchanting quality which takes you back in time. Thanks to the staff of the hotel and I hope to see you soon.

I have been to Havana on two ocassions and have stayed at the Hotel Nacional on both. I have absolutely nothing negative to say about the hotel: the services are excellent, the staff and managament are kind. It is unparallaled, an excellent hotel that I would recommend to anyone who wants a great room, a killer mojito, a good swimming pool and those marvellous corners you find at every step throughout the hotel. Thank you for your hospitality, I am amazed at the services and, particularly, by the Parisien show and the kind face I found among those who treat guests with care and dignity. Edgar Arellano

I LOVE THIS HOTEL. ITS ROOMS ARE SPECTACULAR AND THE STAFF IS VERY PROFESSIONAL EVERYTHING WAS JUST AS PROMISED BOTH MY WIFE AND ME WERE VERY HAPPY WITH EVERYTHING AND PLAN TO COME BACK AND WOULDN’T HESITATE TO RETURN TO THIS HOTEL… CONGRATULATIONS….
