Need a big favor. | Debbie's Caribbean Resort Reviews Forums

We were hoping to go to Cuba on a last minute trip this winter but didn’t make it. We bought a new house in Nov. and had hoped to be moved in by March. Well, we’re still not moved yet, so no Cuban vacation this year. As a result I’m all out of good Cuban rum. I can, of course, get HC 7yr at the liquor store but I’d prefer Ron Caney Anejo Centuria 7yr, HC Barrel Proof, Legendario Elixir de Cuba 7 yr or even Santiago de Cuba.

Is there a good Samaritan out there (in the Ottawa area) who is soon going to Cuba and doesn’t intend to use their booze allotment that would be willing to bring back a bottle or two? PM me if you’re interested.

Gee .. I have a bottle of Ron Caney Anejo Centuria..A bottle of Havana Club Anejo Reserva .. A bottle of Havana Club Anejo 7 anos and lastlyA bottle of Havana Club Cuban Barrel Proof minus 1 drink…I’m heading down in a little over a week but will not be back until mid June .. PM me..
We have a couple bottles but they’re empty. Is that ok?
I’ve got some of those also – darn stuff seems to evaporate awfully fast.

Thanks Topdog, I’ve sent you a PM.

Now that’s a bar!! How come they’re all still full? Because my invitation was lost in the mail.

He’s such a tease! ;). That’s what I was wondering, too. Wonder how long they’ve been sitting up there on the shelf untouched.

Now that’s a bar!! How come they’re all still full? Yes SUJ , that is a good question.Gambitt should carefully crate the bottles and ship them to my laboratory in the frozen tundra for testing to discover why the liquid levels are not dropping. It must be a new kind of rum-virus.

Gambitt , please hurry !! This could have global effects on rum bottles everywhere !

Here , all I have for rum bottles is just " next "

Dr VCC, A second analysis may be required, so I volunteer, without thought for health or inconvenience, to test a small sample 2l batch.Being a Maritimer, my qualifications stand for themselves. Good thing. I’ve needed some help standing upright and "Qualifications" beat "Resting on Laurels" in this discipline everytime.I’ll keep an eye out for the UPS guy.

An exhaustive report will be followed by a sober second opinion.
