	Is it just me or my computer,but this new format is painfully slow?? I’m not that patient so I hope it is just growing pains. Anyone else with similar issues???

If you mean the new site and not the forum, yep, painfully slow for me too, but I thought it was because of my regular cable internet connection (not high speed, but still faster than dial-up). I was looking forward to checking out the site from work with our ultra-high speed, but alas, I’m off until January 11th!!

	Me too with the Red X’s in the white boxes. Don’t really know why?

	I emailed them and apparently they need Monday and TI to work it out. And yes mine loads up slower also

	It seems to run the same now as it did before the changes….no red x’s either here.

Not slow for me but lots of red X I also have red x’s in the boxes at the top of the page. All of my icons are in hiding at the moment, (home, search, members, etc…).

I don’t have red x’s in little white boxes but I have parentheses with and asterisk in between to signify there are new posts in that particular forum.

There will always be a few glitches when changes are made on the computer program. We will just have to be patient.

comes from ProBoards. It’s only the ones that were custom for ‘our’ forums and came from ‘our’ webspace.

edit: Where specifically are you seeing this? All the forums I’ve looked at seem to display that one correctly.

	Took several attempts to try to access the Hotel Review Section and only after requiring to Become a Member which I thought I was for several years. And as of 9 AM here in the east, the site is unreachable. I trust the experts are hard at work.

	I’m getting a broken link this morning. Maybe give them a day or two to work it out.

Hi. Like always there is a slight difference in what is showing on Firefox and what is showing on Internet Explorer. Internet explorer shows the red X [/li][li]. Firefox browser just shows [/li][li]. It is a broken link to "xtreered.gif" in the Debbies website graphics folder. Actually for me today all of the links seem to be broken to graphics on "https://www.debbiescaribbeanresortreviews.com/". That website was painfully slow in the last few days as well. I thought it may have been my browser but it wasn’t. All links to that website today do not work. It looks like the server is down or something like that. The Facebook link is also broken, as is the resort reviews link above. I see though all of the Google ads are working.

	Well, speed isn’t an issue for me and I did have red "x’s" on top of the page but now they are gone and I’m left wondering how I’m going to log off now that all my boxes have disappeared

	The Facebook pages work but the link back to here is broken. googleads as canuck130 noted, are working fine.

It looks to me like they started "diddling" about 7:30 my time this morning. Funny things started to happen with the graphics.

Steffiej: Don’t worry about logging out. I haven’t logged out of the DR forums for over a year now ….

Oh, and I can see the ‘new’ graphic on both IE8 and Firefox. At this moment, the pushbuttons are totally absent …..

It is just the links to the graphics on "https://www.debbiescaribbeanresortreviews.com" that doesn’t work. For me that site is definitely either not loading properly or painfully slow to the point where your browser gives up and says the website isn’t available. As spunky says the Facebook link is working, but not the link to the Facebook graphics button. I am able to hover with the cursor over the spot where I thought the link used to be to login or logout, I then click on that spot and it works to login or out.

I was looking for a particular review the other day and I had to go to the site map to be able to link to that review from a particular hotel. Is that the way it is or is there another link from the main page to the reviews Index.

	Gosh, and I have no problems with the speed but there are two blank boxes (one on the left and one of the right) up at the top of the screen (where the banners / ads usually are). However, there is still one main banner / ad across the top middle. And I still get the [/li][li]. Doesn’t bother me, just thought I’d let you know. Oh, and I almost never log out.

The new Debbie design is still a work in process.Our team is working daily to improve the website.

It will no longer be required to sign in or register to add a review. Note that this is separate from the forum sign in; which will stay in place as is- Navigation; we will place a prominent link on the homepage, to a “Caribbean Resort Reviews index” page; a list displaying all resorts, similar to list on the sitemap- Navigation; we will place a prominent link on the destination homepage, to a “Country Resort Reviews index” page; a list displaying all resorts in that country, similar to list on the sitemap

Forum

– Missing images and icons on the forum;

New Reviews

– We have a back log of reviews pending to be published since early December; all these will be posted in the coming days. Users will receive a confirmation once their new review is posted
