We took the two seater which took on some water on the way back ….old rivet holes had allowed water between skins. Still we made it back…..lots of paddling but well worth it. Just waiting for wind and therefore choppy water to abate to re-visit the island. Excellent food everywhere. Baci for Valentine’s dinner. Magnolia for birthday dinner (superb with brilliant service) Snorkeling at Coral Gardens brilliant plus swimming with the turtles, day trip with Sail Provo from Leeward Marina a must. Snorkeling and rum punch to die for! We have already visited most of the island. We have also walked from here to Coral Gardens, from Turtle Cove to just short of Leeward and most of Long Bay beach…..great walking. Barry spent half our first day touring the main parts of the island including all important shopping trip to IGA….brilliant supermarket and Discount Wine Cellar. Marta changes towels and bedding and flowers almost daily and together with Barry have given us good advice about where to go and what to do. Discovered South Bluff, interesting caves and inscriptions from shipwrecked survivors and an osprey and miles of lovely, deserted beaches. Great for an all over tan. Ate out at Anacoana, Gecko, Danny Buoys and Tiki Hut. Wednesday night chicken and ribs…was their busiest night ever 700 people but we had good service and great food. Discovered Sapodilla and Silly Creek and the breathtaking turquoise of Chalk Sound. We spent more time snorkeling at CG and Smith’s Reef.. Saw lots of turtles and a ray. We walked at sunset to Turtle Cove and the Tiki Hut. We saw an osprey at CG flying low over the sea with a fish in its talons – WOW! Thanks again Barry and Marta for all your help and advice.
