Orchidee restaurant is a hidden oasis in Sosua. It is a bit hard to find but once you reach the top of the stairs to the open-air dining area you know you have arrived. The menu is usually the same with specials each night. The German owner/chef always comes out of the kitchen to say hello and ensure that your schnitzel or sea bass were to your tastes. The hostess recognizes us each time we arrive and greets everyone with a great smile.
The complimentary mama juana after dinner drink is welcome. We make sure that we visit Orchidee at least every week while on vacation in Sosua. It is very reasonably priced and the menu is varied and always good.

dont be put off by the inexpensive price this was the cleanest and best run hotel that i stayed in in DR no pool but easy to walk to the beach the location is in the middle of everything no car needed

telo is a great chef and owner i have enjoyed several fine meals there with friends …very romantic and the service is great you wont be dissaponted im sure ……….. roger crowder

was eating many times here maybe 20 in 3-4 years, Always fresh and very tasty the service is exellent. Tino the owner is very friendly and hard working chef !!
