Can anyone tell me what kind of tours they offer at PP and what the prices might be? I want to put this info on my wedding website. I would also like to know what restaurants they have and what kind of food is at each one. Any info would be greatly appreciated. Also, any tips for this resort or Holguin would be great as well. Thanks | |
julesr,Congratulations on your upcoming wedding at PP,. we were married there in October 2005 – and it was by far, the best decision we ever made!!!! ;DThere are many tours offered from PP that would range anywhere from about 35-40CUC(Speed Boat Excursion) to over 300CUC (Havana overnight tour). We have not been back to PP since our wedding, so I am not sure of exact prices – but there is a lot offered. You can take the "train" from PP to the town of Guardalavaca, which is fun, there is a market there to do shopping etc. You can also rent scooters from the resort and travel at your leisure – lots to do!!!PP has 5 a la carte restaurants, The Seafood Grill (seafoods, pasta, meat); La Gondola (Italian); Vegetarian – speaks for itself, pastas; salads; soups; Asian – again, self explanatory!!! And last but not least – Romantico – by far the best a la carte (in my opinion) I believe you would classify this as Mediterranean or French, the food is fabulous!!! Great lobster tails and a wonderful bacon-wrapped veal tenderloin!!! There is also La Trattoria, which again, is Italian, but the last time we were there, it was not offered as an a la carte, but great for lunch and late night cravings – very good pizza and pastas. There is also the 24 hour Beer Garden which has a pretty good selection of finger foods. The resort is fabulous, and the wedding coordinators we had, Yaly and Katherine were just amazing for us and our group!!!Hope this helps, if you have any other questions, please feel free to ask!!

Hi Julesr!!!Congratulations on your wedding. I was also married at this resort in Dec 05, I have to agree with Tigs it was amazing ;D ;D
Tigs has covered all the restaurants on this resort if my memory is correct. One of my favourites has got to be Romantico, this is where we had our wedding meal (very nice!!). There are are a number of tours on offer at PP, I would definately recommend swimming with dolphins, this was truly an amazing experience for my husband and I You will find in the main foyer your tour operator who will have a full list and prices of all the tours on offer. If you have any questions please feel free to askAnths Good luck with the wedding plans |
