The location is what I love most about this place, the view is magnificent, with forests and mountains close to it coupled with the beautiful looking beach located near it, I had an awesome trip here. As much as I had a great trip here and as much as it is located in a perfect area with all the wonderful natural features surrounding it, the hotel still looks tiring and worn and something should be done about that. I had a beach front room and it is very spacious and nicely designed as well. It is old but has nice furnishings. It is located between a mountain and a sea but it is an average hotel at best. Baracoa is a very interesting city I like to visit whenever I am in Cuba and this is a comfortable hotel where one can stay during their visit or trip to Baracoa. The buffet is adequate here but the foods weren’t exceptional, just like any Cuban mean. Here is an amazing part of my holiday which is the fact that Casa de la Trova was just 10 minutes away from the hotel, it’s a dance hall for salsa music and I enjoy going there. They have got a nice looking pool where I can go swim after a long walk into the city. They serve the best Mojito I have ever taken and it is very cheap here, you can get a nice tasting Mojito for about CUC$2. Will I come back here? Definitely.
