We’re considering a trip to Panama in April for our Anniversary and have a few questions…- we’re being quoted $1400 each, tax incl. from Toronto with Nolotours, is this a "good deal"? (we seemed to think it was reasonable), to the Royal Decameron- are there any Adults Only Resorts in Panama?- are there suite options or oceanviews at this resort?- is April an ok time to go?
Any comments would be greatly appreciated. Thanks! |

Can’t tell you much about the price- I go from US and I book my resort and flight separate. No adults only Resorts in Panama that I know of.There are oceanview rooms.April is a fine time to go. It is the rainy season but where Decameron is located, you will not see too much rain. You may see some hard and fast rain but thats about it. (It could be more rainy in some of the areas where you may take excursions.)
I am heading there myself in the end of March. I myself have been to Decameron a few times and there are others that post that are repeat visitors that could answer any questions you might have so feel free to ask. V. |

I know the resort offers a transfer for like $30. I have never used it, as my friends pick us up at the airport. We have taken busses from the terminal before to the resort for like $4 a person (I think).

Hi, the price you quoted sounds pretty good, we are paying approx 1599 each plus an extra 200 each to do the 10/4 split. Then (this may make you feel a bit better ) we are paying an extra 700 to get to toronto to fly out plus two hotel rooms at 100 each way! BUT ya know, it doesn’t matter at this point! we are going to Panama! whooo hooo! Our direct flights are from wpg, which are okay but only DR, Cuba, Mexico & I have seen now Jamaica. By the time we add on the extra flite to TO to fly, it’s all about the same. We (and the ppl we are going with) booked last julyish, so likely part of the extra expenses, but we like to know that we are going I guess…..
Have fun, enjoy! What a great experience |

Hulia32, they do offer suites, but it would be in the Villas which are located on the golf course. Which is across street from the resort………can be a fair distance depending on where the villa you are assigned is. The closest you will get to Adults Only at the Decameron is at one of their infinitey pool. There is a swim up bar and it is an adult ony pool. | |
Well when we think of adults only it’s in the line of hedonism. Wife enjoys topfree sunbathing but I think that sort of thing is not appropriate for Decameron in Panama |

As to price, we are paying $2050 each for 10 days @ RD and 4 @ Gamboa leaving Toronto on Feb 26. We were waiting for a good deal for the past several months but never did go on sale below that price. |

I just book my trip last friday and im leaving tomorow (thats what i call a last minute :)). We are paying 895 tx incl. for 7 days at the Playa Blance. I know its not the Decameron but its a small 4**** resort 3km away from the Decameron by the beach. |

The price of 1400.00 is the price I have seen on the internet sites, I have been watching it for a while and this the price advertised. Now it looks like last minute, meaning 3-2 weeks prior that the price has been dropping but you may have to watch for the time around Easter selling out faster.![]() |
