We are planning a trip to St. Martin in December and staying near the Cupecoy Beach area. We’ve never been to this island and don’t really know a lot about it. We’d like to do some sightseeing and shopping. Is it a relatively safe island for us to go off the resort & tour around ? Any additional suggestions/advice for us newbies would be appreciated.
