We spent 10 days, at the end of October, at the beautiful Now Jade Resort in Riviera Cancun. Facilities and grounds were excellent. Everything was spotless. The ground were well maintained and had a mature vegetation. The lobby was really spacious with numerous sitting areas, bars, and air conditioned lobby. Our suite was located in building one. It was a very nice suite, with a large bathroom with 2 sinks, toilet and bidet, shower and jaccuzzi. The king size bed was confortable and the housekeeping was very efficient. The A/C worked well and everything else also. The a la carte restaurants were: Mercure the French, CinCin the Mediterranean and adult only, Capers the Italian, Spice the Asian, and Tamarindo the Mexican. The main buffet, Carnival had A/C and also a section for outdoor eating. We found the food more than acceptable in the buffet or in any of the a la carte restaurants. We had our breakfast at the buffet Carnival. There was a variety of food for everyone to choose from. Mercure is a french a la carte for dinner. They served a variety of french gourmet specialties. The filet mignon with bearnaise sauce was superb. The red house wine was a Cabernet Sauvignon from Chili. It was our favourite wine and complimented well the refined cuisine. At Capers, we tried the restaurant specialty, the osso bucco which was a real treat. It melted in our mouth. The Cin Cin had an excellent fresh salmon, It was also the most romantic restaurant. It had soft lighting and and a cosy ambiance. We also visited the Tamarindo and the filet of beef Mexican style was delicious. The restaurant is very nice had a very authentic Mexican style. The Spice a la carte was also a very enjoyable restaurant with a high quality show cooking and also a standard table serving. The food was good "Asian Cuisine" and the crispy chicken in honey sauce was great. The chef Felix is to be congratulated for his effort. All the restaurants in Now Jade had a very efficient A/C and it made us feel more than comfortable in an perfect ambiance. For lunch, our favourite place was the buffet Carnival, where we always found something we liked. There was so much choice to satisfy anyone. The staff worked hard and took good care of all the needs of the guests. There were several pools, some with animation, games, music, aerobic etc. A kiddies pool and an adult only pool, they were clean and one had a pool bar. We found the beach to be just beautiful with white sand and warm water. Of course the quality of the beach was changing according to the weather. There were enough chairs and palapas available. Beach towels were placed on the chairs early in the morning. Now Jade has a fantastic crew of workers. Everyone was so helpful. We had top service from everyone and everywhere. It made our stay at Now Jade a most pleasant one. We would recommend this hotel to anyone who wishes a great holiday, with a family, a couple, or single guest. We will surely return as this hotel in the future.

The Dreams Puerto Aventuras is Located about 55 minutes from the Airport. The hotel had mainly a friendly clientele of families with young children, young groups, and older couples.Everything in the resort was close by with an easy access to restaurants, pools and beach. It is a nice resort and kept spotless. Our suite was located in the Dolphin section with a view on the adult pool. It was spacious and confortable. Wi-Fi is free in all the hotel area but in the Dolphin buildingthe service should be improved as it was not consistent, sometimes good and sometimesvery bad. The A/C Kept our room cool, and our maid Bettinna kept it very clean. Thanks to Diana who worked at the reception, for giving us a room which met all our needs. As for the food, the restaurants were good, especially Portofino, and Oceana. The daily buffet offered at the World Cafe was also enjoyable. Staff was friendly, courteous, always willing to help. Juan, kept the buffet running smoothly and people happy. The pools were well maintained. They had daily activities at the main pool which was nicely heated and children enjoyed playing in the kiddie’s pool. The adult only pool was the quiet one and nice for relaxing or reading. The beach had a lot of shaded area and a sufficient amount of chairs, but the blue loungers are very old and they all needed to be replaced as they were unconfortable. The ocean had a nice swimming area with clear water and soft sand. The Dreams had their own Dolphinarium. The dolphins that performed every day were fun to watch as they were showing off their skill. We enjoyed our vacation at the Dreams Puerto Aventuras. For photos and more info see :

The Riu Palace Costa Rica is a resortthat sits on the same property and stretch of the beach asthe Riu Guanacaste. It was a very nice complex which opened about a year ago.Everything was new and it had a modern design appearance. The hotel had 4 pools, one with a swim-up bar, surrounded by lots of loungers and shade. The beach has beautiful black sand, warm and clear water. It is shaded by lovely trees. Our Suite was very quiet and confortable. There was plenty of space to store our belongings. Free Wi-Fi was available everywhere and we had high speed connection in our suite. This is a big plus in chosing this hotel. Maid and other services were reliable and efficient. The are 4 a la carte restaurants, 3 of which (Japanese, Steakhouse and Fusion) have dress codes and require reservations. The other is the Italian restaurant and does not require reservation. The food was really good for an All Inclusive. For breakfast and supper the buffet was alwaysopened and everything was delicious. Lunch was at the pool restaurant Papagayo. There was also a huge choice of a good quality selection each day.The Riu Palace Costa Rica met our expectations. You will find at this resort everything you needto have a plaisant vacation. The service was very good and all the staff were always helpful. We had a great vacation and would recommend the Riu Palace to anyone who would like to spendsome time relaxing in in Costa Rica.

We arrived in Santa Maria Airport and after retrieving our suitcases we boarded an air conditioned bus. The trip to the hotel took about 1.5 hours ,it went quickly with a great tour guide. It was interesting to see Cuba as we drove through villages and scenic countryside. The Iberostar Ensenachos resort was truly grandiose. It is very elegant and has the grandeur of a 5 stars hotel anywhere in the Caribbean. We did a lot of walking to get to the beaches or lobby but we enjoyed the exercise. Resort was built on a huge property, with the villas spread out, but well laid out with most activities and amenities located centrally near the lobby. The buildings are very private and quiet. We stayed in the Spa section, building 22, which is for adults only. Our room was always spotless thanks to Mara, with lots of towels and hot water and everything else. The mini-bar was stocked everyday with water, beer and soft drinks. The beaches were beautiful. They were great for children as there was no waves at the two beaches. The Playa Megano was busy and animated but we always found lots of empty palapas. The Playa Ensenachos was very similar but more quiet. It was the best place for rest and relaxation. As far as the pools are concerned we enjoyed some afternoon quiet time at the adult only “spa pool”. The other pool is family oriented and is great for kids. The buffet was never crowded. The food was excellent. Lots of variety and fresh food prepared on the grill. Steak, chicken, pork. fish etc. On special gala night, they had fresh lobsters, giant shrimps, smoked salmon, and more. It was the best buffet we have seen in all our travels South. The a la Carte booking was an easy task compared to other resorts we have been at. Our favorite was the Seafood El Pirata. The fresh lobster was superb. Dario, the F&B manager is a great asset to the hotel. He is a great communicator and always ready to listen to the client suggestions. He also had great helper “Nacho” very friendly fellow. All the staff were very friendly and helpful. The service was the best we have experienced anywhere in Cuba. We stayed in the hotel for two weeks, May 26 to June 9, and we had a great time and would recommend this resort to anyone who is looking for a beautiful place for vacation. Unfortunately, we did not get to meetthe hotel manager Brenda Correa. We sent her several e-mails regarding our internet travel site but Brenda never answered any of our e-mails. Brenda if you wish to see your resort Iberostar Ensenachos on our sitetalk to Dario,or Nacho they know everything about it.

We stayed for two weeks at the Now Sapphire Resort.( Oct. 2012 )Now Sapphire is truly a beautifuland refined resort with dense vegetation to be enjoyed.Lots of plants, flowers and trees lined the pathways. Our room, was in the Prefer Club, facing the ocean. It was a large suite, with all the amenities one could need. The view was amazing. Thehousekeeping was fantastic. The beach had soft white sand and it was so peaceful to relax under a palapa. The Prefer guests have their reserved section with palapas. The ocean breezewas welcome and kept us cool. The big pool was lively and fun and large enough to be in or away from pool games and bar. If you wanted real peace and quiet, the Preferred guest pool with bar, provided a peaceful environment. The restaurants are all amazing especially and the a la carte Paramour. It is a very elegant adult only restaurant. It was our favorite. The menu isgourmet french cuisine. The Sea Blue grill had very good fish and chipsfor lunch and great steaks at dinner. We did enjoy our meal everywhere and the service was excellent. It was our second time at the Now Sapphire and it will not be our lastWe had a great vacation, and would recommend this hotel to anyone lookingfor a peaceful and relaxing resort.

We spent 2 weeks vacation at Dreams and we couldn’t have beenmore happy with the resort. The location was great, it’s at the vertex of the two main beach strips in Cancun, so it has a beachon either side of the resort. One with calm waters, and one withwaves. This makes it feel very secluded from neighbouring hotels but located right in the center of Cancun hotels area where the action is.
