| Can anyone provide some basic info on RIu Palace Aruba. I’ve done research but I’d like to hear from people who were there.If you have a map of the hotel, or know where I can find one on the internet, I’d really appreciate it.

| Hi Karenny, I just read your post, and last summer when I was there they were building the rui. The two side buildings are new, but the back building was left from the old orginal aruba grand resort. I have read good reports on this resort. Check www.trip advisor.com and hopefully you can get a better idea from other guest who have stayed there. Hope this will help you. I have been to Aruba 5x and I love it. The food is great, the people are fantastic, and the beach by Palm beach is BEAUTIFUL!!!!Good Luck Dee |

Actually, the main building which is parallell to the beach is new, along with the one in the left if facing the beach (the one toward the Divi Phoenix) from the main building. The builing on the right is the old building. |

| It was fantastic! 8 beautiful days (ok 1.5 hrs of rain one day!)Peeps, food, drink fab….I was in room 909. Considering its ocean VIEW I’m glad I didnt pay for ocean FRONT.The only real issue is the beach chair game at the pool and the beach hut game…….Worst i’ve seen at any resort….But I gained almost 5 pounds in eight days. That SHOULD tell you something about the food.
Despite the minor issues, I definitely would consider this hotel again. |
