We have just booked the Royal Decameron, Playa Blanca for 2 weeks beginning Feb. 7/2011 and booked an Ocean View Room. We have now decided to upgrade once more to an Ocean Front Room and I am asking for your personal opinion on what rooms or building you prefer. We are flying down with Nolitours from Toronto. Judging from the resort layout map I am leaning towards either building #11 or my favourite choice from the layout map, building #31. Any help would be very much appreciated.Thank you in advance.

![]() Ron You can see the pictures of our stay at the following link. You will see one picture of building 11 with the location of the room where we stayed marked. You’ll also note that one of the beach bars and a quieter pool are in front of the building. We found this building quiet suitable for all our needs and that end of the property was not as busy as the other end. … Did not pay much attention to bldg #31 but it is closer to several restaurants and a much busier pool. Don’t think you’d go wrong with either building but I’d still choose building 11 if I went again. (There is also a picture of an Ocean View room at the top of the hill.) www.worldisround.com/articles/351157/index.html |

Hi ByerbillThank you for taking the time to reply and for the fantastic pics. I think choosing bldg. #11 might be our first choice based on your pics and maybe bldg. #31 might be a bit too busy. Just looking at your pics, I wish we were there today but it would be a lot better going from the frozen Great White North in February to an extremely hot clime in Panama.Thank you again for your time and resources.Happy Traveling

Hi,I am heading to the Royal Decameron next week with my husband and 2 kids (2 and 10). We chose a beach front room, but I was wondering if the bulding 11 would be a good choice for us with kids or if you think another building would be better. Of course, we wouldn’t want to hear disco music at night in our room. Thanks in advance for your help!
