Our two week stay at this hotel was tainted by a dismal experience on our last day. Check-out at noon was not negotiable, despite our flight at 9:35pm. We asked about a hospitality room – none available. We were not permitted to stay in our room beyond the check-out time of 12 noon, front desk staff were imperious. We spent the day in the lobby. On actual departure, another couple appeared, who had been permitted to stay in their room, without charge. We expressed our dismay, then anger. During our stay we noticed that the hotel caters to Mexican families who arrive by the busload from Guadalajara for 4day/3night stays, and during most of our stay these families were in the majority.

Flight was two hours late arriving, so it was nearly midnight by the time we arrived at hotel.
Rooms:
We asked for two beds, on arrival found only a king with no chance to change rooms possible.
Restaurants and Bars:
Food outstanding. Restaurant staff Juan, Genaro, Carlos and Cele made our visit extra special.
Beach/Pools/Grounds:
Very "big" surf, but it is Pacific Coast.
