san andres island | Debbie's Caribbean Resort Reviews Forums

Hiwe are just about ready to book one of the decameron resorts – not sure which one yet. We have been to Cuba, Cozumel and Dominican and our travel agent suggested SAI for the type of things we like to do. I have been reading reviews but haven’t heard anyone mention deep sea fishing excursions. Are they offered there? Also I read a review that say the last week of march and the first week of april are not really a good time to travel there as it’s their march break. Does anyone have info on this?
Will be going this year for the fourth time. Re March break…… March Break goes across the spectrum in Canada depending on what Province you are in and what your school board dictates. [glow=red,2,300]I read a review that say the last week of march and the first week of april are not really a good time to travel there as it’s their march break.[/glow] I’m not sure what effect it would have on your plans if it is "their" March Break. I have not seen any Deep Sea fishing in SAI but then again all I do is scuba !!!

If you want a good forum to read on SAI goto groups.msn.com/BigJuicesSanAndresIsland/messageboard.msnw

We just returned from San Andres and stayed at the San Luis which was very nice however if I returned again I would book the Marazul. I didn’t see or hear of anyone speak of deep sea fishing when we were there but the snokeling was great. We are heading off to Cuba in April

I wouldn’t go during any colombian vacation periods (January, end of March, July and August) – the place will be very crowded and pretty rowdy (though you might like that?)

My wife and I are looking at heading to SAI for our 1st time next week. There are some great deals right now that we are finding it hard to turn down.Ive been watching different weather websites to find rain forecasted but no rain that day, it this typical?

Any insight would be greatly appreciated as this sounds like an awesome opportunity
