I use Scubapro Mako Titanium, it’s a great knife, small, light and compact which I carry in a pocket. I also carry some small shears sometimes. |

Very Important, remember this when buying a scuba knife !!
In scuba folk-law, they say the size of your dive knife is a reflection on the size of your manhood….this might explain a thing or two why my wife always looks disapointed as my knife is just over 2 inches long It still makes me smile when I see divers with a ten inch knife strapped to their leg, shining it up before a dive so everyone can see it….who are you are you trying to kid mate ! Been watching too many James Bond films !No worries, $50.00 is more than enough to spend on a decent knife. For me, the one you have mentioned is too long. I like to be as streamed lined and weight free as possible. I only like to carry exactly what I need for diving, and if I can get something that is small and light weight, but is still durable and can do the job that it is designed to do, then I will go for that option personally.I see they have a Blue Reef 3” titanium knife which are pretty cool and is only $39.95 (list $72.95). I had one of these but left it on a boat in Phi Phi, but this would be my first choice for a $50 knife. www.leisurepro.com/Prod/CategoryID_968/Context_965/Sort_Price/DescSort_0/Page_7/BLRKMT.html |

In the pocket of your bc? |
|
I usually have it in a shoulder strap or on my travel wing, I have a little pocket and keep it in there. Rarely use it to be honest but have it with me in case of getting tangled in discarded fishing nets etc that can be caught on wrecks or reefs. |

Now what is this wheel and Scubapro’s MK25 A700’s: Man another toy… the difference between men and toys is the price of their toys |

[/quote] yes thanks for posting Dax…I like the GoPro… Only issue for me is you need to have the back pack for it ( to see what it is I am filming) and at times the fish eye lens is not requirede and there is no option to film without it. I like my new Olympus TG1 for all it’s worth. ;D ![]() ![]() ![]() Now what is this wheel and Scubapro’s MK25 A700’s: Man another toy… the difference between men and toys is the price of their toys ![]() |
