Single Travel – Hedonism or Temptation too risque? | Debbie's Caribbean Resort Reviews Forums

Hi there, I’m desperate for a vacation and none of my friends can go when I have an opening in my work schedule (I can go in early to mid December). I was thinking of going on my own to an all-inclusive since I need some R&R in the sun, BUT I don’t want to be that crazy girl who travels alone and ends up eating all by myself… All the times I’ve been to all-inclusives, I’ve always been with others and rarely see people by themselves…Because of this, I was thinking of going to Hedonism or Temptation because I understand a lot of singles go there, but I’m not sure if it will be too risque for me! I’m not a prude or anything but I don’t know anything about these places except for what’s in the brochures. Can someone tell me the real scoop on these places and whether it’s worth it for some R&R in the sun? I would like to meet new people etc but I just want to know what I would be getting into!!!

Any other suggestions for destinations would also be appreciated.

Thanks.

Pay the single supplement (or find a resort that doesn’t charge one for your dates) and go to a regular resort. Over the years, we’ve run into tons of singles and almost without exception, they’ve got along just fine. They either find other singles or blend into a group of couples and just ‘go along for the ride’.

These two resorts are pretty "risque" but, if you want a lively ‘Frat Party’ type of vacation, I would choose Temptations. At Hedo there may be more "expectations" especially if you are a single female. You will definitely not be out of place at either resort whatever your age is and I don’t really know just how much R&R you will get at either one.

You could try other travel forums to find out more info on each of these resorts. I’ll send you a PM is your want.
