Skyservice’s attempt to emulate Air Transat’s ClubClass falls very short in comparison. StarClass passengers are mixed with regular passengers in the front of the plane and they in no way have the same or comparable service provided by AT ClubClass. |

Description from Skyservice site: "Star Class is an upgraded service as offered on all Signature Vacations/Skyservice Airlines flights beginning November 1, 2008 and includes the following:Minimum 35” seat pitch Priority check-in and baggage handling and priority boarding Baggage allowance of 30kg per person Complimentary bar service onboard Complimentary headset on Southbound flight Complimentary Seat Selection " If Skyservice wanted to emulate Air Transat’s "Club Class" they should have gone the full distance. We haven’t flown Skyservice since the inception of Star Class but, when we did fly with them we would prebook exit rows for the leg room. Even then, 6 hours in those seats were torture :-X. Let me tell you, those same hours spent in "Club Class" were an absolute pleasure and we enjoyed every minute of the pampering. What a way to start and end a vacation |

all well and good IF it worked that way!! on the way down I couldn t agree more, but on the way home at midnight we waited in line 2 hrs because there is no Star service line up!! and a MUCH smaller plane than we had on the way down, no extra leg room…….NOTHiNG…….really bad on the way home. I wrote Skyservice March 29….of course same service we got on the dam plane ………no reply |
