kids-n-puppies-n-summer in the tropics Hey I remember when you & your neighbours built that clever cycle/cart. I sure would love to borrow it!Can’t wait for summer! We are lucky enough to live one block from an amazing beach here in Semiahmoo Bay and that rig would be perfect to transport our 3 youngest grandkids down to the beach for lots of summertime fun.Did I mention my yerba buena is poking out of the ground already? Mojitos on the balcony while watching the sailboats. Life is good here too!

Nice pictures. I like the green. The only thing that is green here is me – green with envy.

What a difference a couple of days can make here in Calgary. Most of the white stuff is gone, and now there are huge puddles. But the grass is still brown.

I like to take a look back at your picture just to see the green grass and trees. How about posting a few more, Dave? It looks like you live in a pretty nice place. You must have some more good pictures.

But the grass is still brown. Just mowed the lawn for the second time today and it’s still winter!

I just saw on the news that we are going to get 10 to 15 cm of snow again. I wish to see green grass as on busman7 photos. This winter is way too long can’t wait for summer to come!

Now that is just mean!! Torturing those of us who are looking out our windows at blowing snow!

I saw a robin yesterday! Poor bird is probably rethinking his/her choice to migrate so early!

Taken an hour ago, Hola Ontario

Go ahead and rub it in Dave!
I’m not complaining though- sunny and 15 degrees where I am right now.

I’m not complaining though- sunny and 15 degrees where I am right now. That’s the same temperature we had in Calgary yesterday. The difference is that you can probably only expect it to get better from now on. We might still get -20 temperatures, or a foot of snow before the month is over.

Such is life in the foothills.

I saw some robins back in January. The little fools! But here we watch for the seagulls to come back. It isn’t truly spring here until they return.
The year I lived in Calgary there was snow in June then again in August.

Had to chain up going back into the bush to picup a Cat near Hinton Thanksgiving weekend.

They call it god’s country, ’cause nobody else wants it, EH!

I saw Blue Jays and Robin and Red Cardinals even tho it was so cold. I was wandering why these birds come out when it is cold but I guess they are hungry and looking for food. So I give them some food and I see in 24 hours there is no more food left.
By the way do you get a lots of rain between May and November in El Salvador or to be more specific in the area where are you busman7? I know for example in Panama in some areas there is more rain than in other areas of Panama that is one of the reasons why they built Panama canal where it is as they need that rain to help bring ships over canal.

By the way do you get a lots of rain between May and November in El Salvador or to be more specific in the area where are you busman7? Normally 2-3 days/week get an afternoon T-storm or a couple hrs rain overnight. Have gotten up to a week pretty much steady rain in Nov but that’s not normal.

average weather  and for snorkelers   tides

What about animals such as monkeys etc .. do you have in the area you live?

No monkeys in this area, just the odd rabbit and a few possums, only thing to really watch for is an occasional scorpion hiding in stored clothes.
