The story didn’t last long on Trip Advisor. Said it was closed by "the Trip Advisor Community", but I am dubious about that! |

It relates to the validity of reviews. I think that would be the point. |
|
What gets to me is people who advertise in the review that they are GOING to the hotel; that is just plain wrong, a review should only be done *if* you have been to what it is that you are reviewing.bellagio
Are my eyes seeing correct that your next visit with be your 50th? Like how friggin cool is that? |

![]() Are my eyes seeing correct that your next visit with be your 50th? Like how friggin cool is that? Wow Bellagio!!! The BIG 50 I still remember your initial posts when you were preparing for your first trip to Cuba. Time flies but in those days, I think we truly believed that we could actually rely on most of the reviews as being honest and factual. |

Personally I enjoy reading Cuba related TA forum postings and resort reviews. |

First, I think TA is a great resource. But like anything, it does have it’s problems. The rankings can’t be trusted IMO but if you look at the general information and the more recent reviews with a skeptical eye it can be quite valuable. It’s not perfect but it’s probably one of the best out there. The forums are the most valuable part of the site IMO. |

I find the reviews will give a good overview of a resort and highlight any ongoing issues but the forums are more interesting and an ideal way to get specific information. |
