I stayed at this hotel for five days in december 2006. The best is the breakfast, excellent. The rooms are confortable, mine had a balcony to Central Park, quite funny. If I go again to Havana, I’ll repeat this hotel.

I stayed in the telegrapho between the 8th and the 18th of june 2008 I traveled with a disabled mate and when we arrived at the hotel our room was not ready but we were given another room right away to use till ours was ready ! reception staff couldnt be more helpfull !! the room reserved for us was no good so we asked to stay in first room which was no bother for the staff !! Treated like royalty for the whole stay from the bell boy to the maids to the manager , everybody was really great ! Breakfast was a bit dodgy but evening meals in the resturaunt are great but be warned ….steer clear of anything with cheese……its the crappy plastic cheese stuff !!!! you gotta beware of the streets around the hotel cos they are full of crazy hustlers (I soon discovered thats normal for Havana !! )
The only way I can think of to round this off is to say …." I loved my stay in havana and I couldn’t have wished for a better friendlier place to stay than the Telegrafo ! "

Telegrapho was excellent, very friendly and the location was good. breakfast was good with quite a lot of choice.
Rooms although not european standard were well furnished and clean. enjoyable stay, would go again.

Stayed at Hotel Telegrafo for 4 days in Sept of 2008. The service was superb. The rooms are very nice and spacious. The air conditiong, toilets, sink, lights, T.V., snack Bar all worked. The rooms were very clean and the daily maid service of top notch. The bar/area and resturant where good and staffed w/ very friendly people. Great location also.

I stayed at this hotel in June 2008. It is very near the downtown, has good services and an excellent breakfast. However, the walls need betteer upkeep. There are cracks near the point of contact with the floor and some walls need cleaning and a new paint job. These details aside, I recommend it.

Un’isola felice per sfuggire al caos di Parque Central e de l’Habana Vieja. Rimarrete estasiati dal gusto moderno della hall che si presenta nel modo miglore per un turista che rimane anche colpito dalla bellezza di stanze lussuose. La nostra – in viaggio di nozze – era più grande della nostra casa, con tanto di doppio bagno: nulla da dire, da applausi. Unici elementi negativi sono stati il letto – un po’ troppo scomodo – e i rumori del bar dall’esterno. Il bar al piano terra è moltoraffinato e ben fornito, la sala ristorante è buona ma occhio ai raggiri dei camerieri quando ordinate.La colazione, invece, è di prim’ordine.

In the hotel there is a bar which is quite stuffy so that needs air con to improve it, good choice of things in the bar but breakfast needs more choice. rooms are average but the cleaning maid does an excellent job. Nice bathrooms. i would recommend it to people looking for a base close to the sights of havana vieja this hotel is only yards away from the capitolio and is a few streets away from most of the rest. a few improvements though… will the person on the door always be standing there as sometimes he was and sometimes he wasn’t, and the money exchange at reception was not at government rates (was not a cadeca) cheaper internet access

Nothing to criticize, everything was excellent, all the employees are professional, their efforts are noted. I would come back without a doubt.
