Thank you all so much for the well-wishes! They mean so much to me during this trying time. I’ll be very careful about reading the insurance papers, believe you me!

We’re all booked — flight and casa x 2. Gonna give it a go, see what happens. We won’t be exploring much, due to my wheelchair, just enjoy the warmth and no shoveling snow for hubs! Insurance was no problem if stable for 90 days before the flight — and I have been. Yay!

Happy to hear that you have been doing well and heading to Cuba for what I’m sure is some much needed time in the sun.
¡Buen viaje!

Being stable is one common clause, …another is no medication change ie dosage etc…so watch out for that one. I always do.

I know that. Doc says no changes til I get back, if needed. Thank you all for your happy thoughts!

This is such good news Benni. We just got back 2 days ago and I’m trying to catch up on what I missed. I know you have the spirit and a great Hubs for back up ! You are the roll model for many disabled (and so is Barb). You both grab life and enjoy to the fullest. I think we are all in awe – you should be lecturing in rehab facilities, encouraging those who have similar problems. Coming from this Canadian to a Texas ANGEL. So proud of you and hubs.

Awwwww! Thanks so much! I’m kinda scared but I gotta go see what traveling disabled is like.
Thanks, your Texas angel.
