The hotel is a bit far from old Havana but it’s a great location and nice neighborhood so I didn’t really mind that aspect. The place s reasonably price and it costs just 10CUC to get to old Havana so it wasn’t that bad. It is a quiet and calm neighborhood so it’s good for relaxation and the area is safe as well. The rooms here are quite clean and large enough for a Cuban hotel and had goo standards so I can’t complain. The rooms are somehow basic but its great especially if you are not looking for anything fancy, this will do. The service here is okay, straightforward and attentive from the staff. Some of the staff members understood and spoke English to some descent extent so communication wasn’t hard for me as I could get across to them what I needed without much ado. The area is a no tourist place and for such area, the hotel was pretty nice and qualified for a 4 star hotel in my opinion. There was internet service in a room with a computer so if you need, you can buy service per hour which cost like 6CUC per hour so it’s average. The rooms had air conditioner which was working all the time for such a hotel that was pretty top notch. On arrival, the place looked liked a university dorm but the services and the staff made it better. Check in was fast and I was in my room and the rest of my stay was great.
