We booked this holiday because it was cheap and we wanted two relaxing weeks away. And that’s exactly what we got. The hotel is lovely, nice and small and personal, the rooms are pretty basic, two double beds, a wardrobe, and fridge, TV with American channels, balcony, shower, toilet and safe. They all have air con, which is lovely. The food is good. I went to the Maldives two years ago and the spread was exactly the same!! And I paid a fortune for that. The staff is lovely, they like tips but that’s part of Cuban tourism. I would recommend the speed boat trip, cigar experience, sunset cruise was lovely (great place to propose), and the catamaran. Our friends also really enjoyed the colorful Cuba trip. You get what you pay for, it’s very quiet, and the entertainment staff is really good though. It’s a lovely small hotel. We really loved it and would go back tomorrow. We booked through Thomas Cook, England Some people seem to expect you are going to get 5* quality, but you aren’t paying for 5*. And this hotel is lovely, I had a wonderful time there.
