| Hi all!We had a fantastic time and loved Breezes, definitely would recommend a DW there for anyone! Everything we wanted was taken care of immediately, and then some, and all of our guests loved the resort, the staff, and the country – I think we will probably all go again to Cuba as a big group in a couple of years.
The day of the wedding it rained which made it cool enough to be in our finery without too much discomfort and was good for pictures too. I was a half an hour late for the ceremony since there aren’t any clocks in the room, and we got busy trying to open champagne, and well, it was a little bad but I still got there and looked great and it was still perfect (although my husband may have been a little worried for a while!). So I recommend bringing a clock, or a watch, or having someone on top of the time! | Your pictures are fabulous!!! I loved seeing them! Wow..it actaully seems that it was so long ago already for us! Who helped you more, Eduardo or lizbeth? Aren’t they just so great! i’m looking forward to going back next year for our anniversary.I’m glad it all worked out for you!

We found that Eduardo really helped with everything but I think Lizbeth did a lot of the behind the scenes work for us. I really liked the band – We found out that the woman is in the Cuban national orchestra. We are excited to go back again too and enjoy the trip ourselves without everyone else – I think it will be a very good trip! I posted a review on TripAdvisor and have had lots of inquiries about the resort from other potential brides. |

| That’s great. I had a feeling too that Lizbeth did a lot of the ‘day of’ work, but Eduardo kept us very happy for the two weeks…we ended up having to give away some of the rum that arrived in our room! :o)
Did anybody give you an idea of how long until you get your documents? It’s been two months and we still haven’t see ours. I’m getting anxious to get it all legal here! |

Hi Jennb! From reading other people’s posts on the forum about the documentation I expect to wait about 3 months for the document and then it has to be translated by a certified translator into English so I know it is going to take some time. I am starting to use my new last name but I agree it would be nice to have it legal and start signing my name with it too! Let me know when you do receive it and at least then I will have an idea of when I should get mine! |
