It is a comfortable and quaint place to stay; it’s a good bargain for the services you will get here. I had a room on the top floor during my seven day holiday in this hotel and it was amazing. The room had a well stocked mini bar with working air condition and other necessary amenities. The rooms are all well equipped and I enjoyed the never ending hot water that was running throughout my stay that was a huge plus as it is an important criterion for me when looking for place to stay each time I go on vacation. The rooms are large, comfortable and clean. The location of this hotel is just perfect and close to some restaurants and shops. It is located in the center of old Havana which makes it even more interesting and from here, there are many attractions especially local one’s for you to see. The hotel is more like a Spanish house with beautiful ceilings especially the rooms on the top floor. I didn’t have any problems with the area because it was not noisy, just okay. I also think that the hotel is run by Valencia so you should take note. The place was not noisy at all sure there was music playing in the restaurant but it was not loud enough to disturb my sleep and it didn’t play into night. The staff was amazing and friendly and helped me when I needed anything done or advice on where to visit in this wonderful city.

Im Mai 2008 habe ich im El Commendador eine Nacht verbracht und war mit allem sehr zufrieden. Das Hotel hat ein wunderbares Flair, Zimmer und Innenhof sind ein Erlebnis. Die Service-Mitarbeiter waren freundlich und professionell, das Frühstück umfangreich. Also: muy bueno! Carsten Borgmeier, Bielefeld, Germany.
