Weigh that against the number who have stayed away more or less since the Afro logo appeared. I actually took a hockey team photo a few weeks ago and one black kid was a foot taller than the rest and he had an afro, identical to the Debbies logo which made him another half a foot taller again. He did not have earrings or a flower head band though.Maybe afros are returning..I vote: Sitting on the fence. Content matters to me a lot more. However, I’m all for watching a good scuffle.

I understand that you do not like it and some other members do not like it but as I am very busy fixing many things that were not proper in the set up and back end of the forum I need some some time … by the way I will not use any more editor I am admin so if anyone needs to PM me or something please start using Admin user name.ThanksZee

Some members were banned for good reason. Primarily, they just couldn’t or wouldn’t follow the posting rules.Rudeness, attacks on members- especially some female members, constant harassing, etc were some of the issues that I recall.

Hope we don’t ever go back to that!

We’re seeing a lot of activity here, and some people from the past showing up. I wonder if Steve will appear somewhere along the way?
I’m pretty sure that Steve_YYZ got booted by former management. It would be nice to see him return. One of the new mods is a friend of his – perhaps she’ll invite himback.I invited Gordon. I hope he returns as well.

I would love to see Yukon King here. I would love to see Steve YYZ here. Another one who I liked to read from another forum, Grumpy Old Man (GOM for short). I know they all had shortcomings, but YYZ knew what he was talking about and had great photos; the other two were entertaining but both liked to stir the pot with their postings – a lot of them valid!

But I did notice that Martian is here. Let’s see how long we can all play nice. CheersTerry will be the referee; Terry is the most tactful of all posters (usually but not always).

Another one who I liked to read from another forum, Grumpy Old Man (GOM for short). James, aka Grumpy Old Man or GOM started his own forum called Dos Centavos after he left TripAdvisor. Things went well with the new forum and then suddenly James stopped posting and the forum slid. Many of us were concerned about James.In Jan. 2013 with help from Lenny (bicycleman) and Dave (busman) I was able to get James’ telephone number and I called him asking that he please come back to his forum. He replied that he no longer had any interest in forums and thanked me for our concern.Given some of the personal problems James spoke about in his forum posts, I was happy to know he was alive and well. I believe GOM did set up an account here at Debbie’s.
