certainly better than the Portafino where I stayed in 2004. There is construction going on in the North tower strong paint smell and banging. If you are put in the North tower the pool bar closes at 4-5pm which only leaves the lobby bar but the south towers pool bars are open till 11pm just a walk or shuttle ride away. You won’t starve at the buffets but don’t look for a great selection food was so so. All the spoiled kids running around everywhere are a different story the parents don’t seem to mind if they run under tables at buffet, or scream till they get their way they were everywhere, even at disco 12:30 am. The staff was great. The beach, I never went down always too packed and not very nice. Go on the jeep safari it was great wish I did on my first visit. The buffet at the North tower is not as crowded as the South tower. I will go back again but to resort with a beach and less spoiled kids (you could tell the North Americian kids they were the behaved ones).
