My husband and i went to the Majestic Elegance on Nov 26th.

Arrival:
Our arrival was a bit rough, had to wait three hours for our room, did not really find out what the wait was but they set us up with drinks and a beautiful air conditioned lobby to sit in while we waited, we also walked around to get to know the resort.
Rooms:
The rooms were exactly as we had seen on the internet, we had requested ocean view but got pool view which was ok, you have to give a little when you vist third world countries.The room was spacious and CLEAN, NO BUGS ever.We stayed in the elegance club section a MUST if you want luxuary, our butler had a bubble bath with rose petals drawn for us after our day trip on the catamaran, how nice was this!!!Occasionally when we came back from a day at the beach our room was a little damp smell but I took febreeze amd a quick spray took care of that, you can also request a cinnamon scent for your room when the maids clean. Our room was cleaned daily with fresh sheets and towels.
Restaurants and Bars:
The food was very good, did not get sick once, everyone there is friendly and helpful. We tipped a dollar at every meal, it is well worth it.
Beach/Pools/Grounds:
The beach is amazing and clean, lots of beach recliners never have to go early and save them with towels like at other resorts.Make sure if you stay in the elegance section you go to the beach hut and sign out snorkel gear,boogie boards etc, they are all free when you stay in this section.
Activities on and off the Resort/Hotel:
The staff always have something going on, they will come and ask you to play but are not pushy.
Other Comments:
We have been to punt cana four times now and by far this is the best resort, all you have to do is ask and you shall recieve. I am planing next years vacation and I know it will be hard to top this resort, ENJOY if you decide to go!!!
