Arrival: May 12 – May 14 Late around 10:00 PM, front desk was quick and efficient getting us room keys, up in room no more than 10 minutes later.
Rooms:
My room was on the 4th floor facing the pool and grounds. Large bathrooms equipped with bathrobes, dryer and makeup mirror. Room itself had nice mini bar, flat screen tv, desk and nice sitting chair.
Restaurants and Bars:
Lobby bar, and restaurants and convienently located(aside from snack/library bar which was outside of the main entrance. Costa Rican feel with rich woods, and decorated well.
Beach/Pools/Grounds:
Pool was small, and cool which is unusual in Costa Rica. Pool chairs are plenitful, and the on plush green grass that reminded me of a golf green. Grounds around the hotel are very well maintained.
Activities on and off the Resort/Hotel:
No tours in San Jose, but did to go Caico’s pizza bar which is a must while in San Jose, best pizza even by American standards.
Other Comments:
Nice place for a short stop. Many international business travelers, and retired people.
