Sirenis La Salina taxi fare from . . . . . . | Debbie's Caribbean Resort Reviews Forums

From Sandals, not too far from Sirenis, it cost 25 CUCs in a metered legal taxi to Arenas Blancas near Calle 62, so I’d expect to pay between 30 -35 CUCs. How about paying 5 CUCs and taking the tourist bus that runs up and down the peninsula instead? Only problem would be if you need to go after the bus stops at 7PM. (Check start and stop times as they may change with the season.)
martian Guest torontogal99, are you sure about those numbers?

A year ago a taxi all the way from the airport to Sirenis La Salina was about 35 CUC, so from the resort back to downtown should be no more than 15 CUC, no?…

Friends of our just got back on Monday from SLS. They were waiting for the bus but were told that it could take quite some time because the buses tended to fill up before they go to the resort. There were already a couple of dozen people waiting by the time they got in line. They decided to take a cab instead. They asked the porter to call a cab, he said he would, but he had already called a cab for another couple and that was over 1/2 hour ago. They decided to try again the next day. The next day they set off earlier. They managed to get a cab for 15 CUC each way. There were four of them sharing the cab. My friend said that there was no meter in her cab.
