Eddie – thank you for continuing to allow Beyond the Beach Children’s Foundation to “advertise” since you took over from the original Debbie.

We feel that this forum has helped our foundation greatly and are sorry to see it go –

Don’t give up hope yet Olive. I’m still waiting on Eddie to confirm what’s happening with the forums. It may just be the review sites that are shutting down. Fingers crossed!

Their main site costs them money and is advertising supported. This one is free and as far as I can tell, they haven’t been around in months. If there’s sufficient interest, this forum may continue, assuming we can get admin control. Another option, again given sufficient interest, may be to port it to a new forum. If not, I guess I’m officially unemployed. It has been a pleasure and as Northernale says, “happy travels”.

I saw the Cuba forum announcement but thought this DR forum was already a separate entity
The Debbie’s Cuba crew has the option of joining the new forumcuba.com and many of us have. There may be an interest by the owners of that site to host this one too. They are running a very nice vBulletin system.

We are alive! No closing as under new management now this will be again the best place to learn about traveling to Dominican Republic and reading hotel and resort reviews. Cheers

That was really good news.I joined on his forum in March and so far didn’t feel that the forum is not alive! I find all of my required answer whenever i asked here.This kind of forum is really helpful so it needs to be alive for us.
