	As many who are on both forums are aware, since the latest dust up some members of TA are MIA. I thought this might be a good place to get together, since PM on TA won’t work for those who have been booted.

Yes, the "good old days" when Debbie’s was a thriving forum. Perhaps it can be again some day, especially if moderation continues to be so heavy handed on Trip Advisor. I do hope the currently banned members will be reinstated. No question if they posted anything untoward, it was provoked!

Seems like a thread about bringing sparklers to Cuba for a birthday party started a huge firestorm. Once the flames were put out, many were banned. Those banned were as usual the most reasonable, helpful and sane members of the forum.

You know, I remember seeing that posting ,and said to myself…."Na, Really?"I guess I should have checked in on it.

	Cuba Jack may not be monitoring TA, or not at the right time. Hopefully he will find his way here, or better yet, be allowed back on TA. I am really surprised he got booted. Actually, I am surprised anyone did, other than the instigator (Scarletrugby), who certainly earned it!

Hi AllI agree. Was a "black Friday" to coin a phrase. As has been mentioned some are still missing in action. CJ and sssnakes haven’t been heard from. Is sssnakes traveling?? Been a while since I was here on Debbies

	Is sssnakes traveling?? I believe he has an upcoming trip, but he is also banned on Trip Advisor at the moment…….at least, the PM feature is disabled, which is usually a pretty sure way to tell…..

Hi everybody. CubaJack had left the building for a short while.This morning is the first time I had looked in on any travel forums. When I see so many asking about me, it makes me feel good to realize how many care about what I do on the TA forum. Thank you all for your support.I now realize that I need to try to get back on TA, but I promise I will try not to get involved in the big fights. Don’t worry, though, I will still say what I think, but I will try to be nice. ;D

And when I need to watch what I say, I will be more circumspect.

Can’t figure why TA ever let DT back he’s one of the most obnoxious posters on any forum I’ve come across.

Seriously, DT is a font of knowledge. Yes, he can be abrasive……I have been on the receiving end, so I know whereof I speak……but IMHO the forum is better off with him than without him. Unlike the instigator of the recent barroom brawl, who hopefully will remain MIA.

eeefarmTotally agree. DT has helped numerous people in their travels off the resort track. He certainly has a command of the written word. I suppose the button has to be there but the mods should be looking at the posts before deleting just cause 2 or 3 people push it. A little more human than machine. I’d like to see the like button on the reviews make a comeback. Only 1 to go. Sanman80 you out there??

Perhaps Debbies will be our new home away from home? I do love TA, keeps being on a holiday alive.Also like DT around, he really does have allot of knowledge and keeps TA interesting, even if I do disagree with him from time to time; makes ya think for sure.I am so glad to see you CubaJack, missed all the action, and was blown away when I heard you were kicked off. If anything you are a TA sweetie pie, just like Bellagio.

	Haven’t been booted from TA (yet), but lately I have been having a hard time biting my tongue. So many posts deleted lately, I decided to come here. Used to post here a few years ago when the Dominican used to be our vacation spot of choice.
